I made a presentation at the recent Australasian Compensation Health Research Forum in Melbourne. The presentation was in the form of a Poster presenting the work the AMA had done in promoting the concept of ‘Complex Case Management’ as an alternative ‘clinical pathway’ for workers with potentially poor-prognosis work injuries.
I was pleased to be awarded the ‘Committee’s Choice’ Award the poster by Professor Alex Collie from ISCRR and Lauren Prosser for the NZ ACC on behalf of the Conference Organisers.
I would like to thank the Conference Organisers and apologise that I had to leave the conference early, before the presentation could be made to me personally.
I would also like to thank the AMA President, Dr Tim Greenaway, AMA Council Members and the members of the AMA Workers Compensation Reform Committee who have supported this work.
