System & Policy Development
Dr Sharman can assist employers to develop systems to manage injuries and implement workplace health & safety programmes. This includes advice on how to incorporate evidence-based principles into systems relevant to accident and injury prevention, as well as effective measures to improve RTW and health outcomes due to health-related absence. He has a professional interest in the management of sick/personal leave absenteeism. Early intervention programmes for a range of physical and psychological health issues in the workplace are often an important aspect of management.
Dr Sharman has had experienced in system development in a range of organisations, both large and small, related to prevention and rehabilitation.
