If particular interest was the development of the “Health Benefits of Good Work” Consensus Statement. This work builds on the previous “Health Benefits of Work” Consensus Statement, but places additional emphasis on the nature of the work.

Brad Parker back as Director – Compensation and Communication with WorkSafe Tasmania
As from 11 May 2015 Mr Brad Parker has returned to this important position with WorkSafe Tasmania. Mr Damian Davidson is the Assistant Director – Compensation who I understand deals with issues that arise with the compensation system.
WorkCover to provide a Mentoring Service for doctors
WorkCover Tasmania have sought expressions of interest from doctors experienced in workers compensation to be available as mentors to other doctors. They plan to recruit 6 mentors for an 18 month trial. The service is called the Medical Advisory and Mentoring Services or MAMS.
