Impairment Assessments
Dr Sharman is an experienced impairment assessor with WorkCover accreditation to assess upper and lower e
xtremity, spinal, nervous system, ENT (including hearing), respiratory and skin impairments. He can also provide an opinion about total impairment ratings taking into account other practitioners ratings for impairments for which he is not accredited e.g. psychiatric or visual impairments.
Dr Sharman has had involvement in the development of the Tasmanian WorkCover Guides. These are the legislated guides that modify the American Medical association Guidelines to the Evaluation of Impairment (AMA4).
