As from the end of October, I am in a position to accept selected referrals from GP’s for advice about ongoing diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management.

Due to the limited numbers of specialist occupational physicians based in Southern Tasmania, I have decided to only accept referred patients with specific disorders, uniquely within the field of occupational medicine i.e. workers affected by exposures to hazardous substances and occupational overuse disorders. I can also assist with the assessment and rehabilitation of workers with work-related psychological disorders.

At this stage I do not have capacity to accept referrals of new patients with musculoskeletal injuries. However, if there is an urgent situation that cannot be managed using alternative resources, I can discuss options with a referring GP.
